How do I get a VAT receipt?

All Grocery online purchases 

If you'd like a VAT receipt for your online grocery order, please send us an email to make your request. This can take up to 30 days. Please note, this form will not work if using Edge as your browser.

All George online purchases 

You can get a VAT receipt for your George.com order via your online account. Here's how to do it:

• Sign in via the Manage your order page
• Find and open the relevant order
• Click on View VAT invoice
• Click on Email to send a copy to your email address.

All in-store purchases excluding Fuel

If you need a VAT invoice for anything other than fuel, please email VATinvoice@asda.co.uk

Please include in the email: 

• Customer/Business name and address
• A valid, legible copy of your Asda till receipt (in .jpeg / .pdf or similar format), containing all the information shown on the receipt

Please note that without a valid till receipt we are unable to process VAT invoice requests, so please ensure that you have obtained one from the store before contacting us.

Fuel purchases only

Please visit the Petrol Station till point or main Customer Service Desk in store to request a VAT invoice for a fuel purchase.
