Scan & Go – smarter shopping

Using Scan & Go is simple. All you have to do is scan and bag your goods as you shop using the handset, or the Scan & Go Mobile app, and breeze through the dedicated checkouts.

Do I need an account?

Yes, you need to register to use the service. You can do this at the Scan & Go touchscreen in-store or, if you don’t already have one, you can set up an Asda account online. This combines access to Scan & Go, online grocery home shopping, and George.com.

How do I update my personal details?
The easiest way to manage your account details is to visit My Account and sign in with your registered email address and password.
  • At the top right of the page, click on Your Account > Account Settings (if using a mobile device, top left of the page)
  • To update sign in details (phone number, password etc), expand the Sign in details, and chagnge as appropriate
  • To update any other details (address etc), expand Address & Phone Book. Note that any changes to phone numbers stored here will not reflect in the phone number under “sign in details”.
